Chapel
Max depth: 18-28m
Marine Protected Area: Yes
Difficulty: Open Water and Advanced
Type: Reef and wall
Description: The name comes from Apo Island’s chapel that can be seen from the boat. The dive starts on a white sandy slope, over shallow corals, and continues to a wall. The bottom of the wall falls down to 30+ meters, but we recommend hovering between 18 to 24m to appreciate the majesty of the wall. You are most likely to do a drift dive there and by the end of the wall, you’ll be able to visit a little cave. Schools of reef fish are swimming around, banded sea snake can be spotted and occasionally, a couple of bumphead parrotfish in the depths.
