• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

PADI Tec 40 Course

The PADI Tec 40 course is the entry point into the world of technical diving, bridging the gap between recreational diving and full technical deep decompression diving. This course introduces divers to the first stages of decompression diving with a maximum depth limit of 40 meters/130 feet.

About the Course

Participants will learn to use decompression software and dive computers to plan and execute decompression dives within acceptable limits. The course covers the use of a single decompression gas (up to 50% oxygen) and emphasizes foundational technical diving skills, including gas management and emergency procedures.

Designed for experienced recreational divers, the PADI Tec 40 course provides the knowledge and skills needed to begin exploring the depths beyond the recreational limits safely.

Prerequisites:
• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
• PADI Enriched Air Diver (with proof of 10 dives using enriched air deeper than 18 meters/60 feet)
• PADI Deep Diver (or proof of a least 10 dives to 30 meters/100 feet)
• Minimum of 30 logged dives
• 18 years old or older
