Basak (also spelt Basac) is one of the top dive sites in Zamboanguita, just south of Dauin. It has a huge coral reef, broken up by patches of sand.

It is also one of the places where we quite often encounter pelagics, including whale sharks and manta rays. Sightings of big animals are never guaranteed, but it is always worth keeping one eye on the blue.
