Masaplod Sur
Two areas split by a muddy gorge: a protected coral slope to the north, and a macro-rich south side with Halgerda batangas and spindle cowries.

Masaplod Sur is divided into two areas, separated by a muddy gorge. The north side lies within the marine protected area: a slope covered in small soft and hard corals, with reef fish and macro life.
The south side offers great muck and reef diving. Look for many kinds of nudibranch, including the famous Halgerda batangas, black coral snails such as the spindle cowrie, schools of yellow snappers and saw-blade shrimps.

Our tip
We highly recommend the south side. It is a fantastic area for photography and macro diving.
